1st Easter Egg Hunt!

Last Monday, my Moppets class (Mother's of Preschoolers) had an Easter Egg hunt! Since I have never gone egg hunting before,

I didn't know what all the hype was about.. but

I soon found out!

Looking... but not really knowing what to look for!!

Getting the hang of it after my mommy showed me what the object of egg hunting was about.

Hmm... That egg is not supposed to be there!

Got it! Moving on!!
As you can see, it didn't take long for me to enjoy hoarding eggs.
Mommy made me put some back since I didn't want to stop, and I could only keep 10 eggs!

Getting alittle side tracked.. I NEVER can resist a buckle!

Ah Ha! CANDY inside???

This Egg hunting is worth all the hype!
So much for that Easter Bunny thinking he could get away with hiding empty eggs on Easter!
Silly Rabbit!

A Little Finger Food is for the Birds!

Last Friday, Mommy and I decided to go to Memorial Park along Chisolm Trail in Round Rock to enjoy my 1st ice cream cone since I had been so helpful around the house.

As I was eating my cone, all these ducks started crowding around me wanting me to share. Well I wasn't about to give up my icecream!!! So I went with the next best thing. I'll give you 2 guesses as to what that might be...

Bite Size Bread or Bite Size Finger?

How about both!

(FYI..No children or ducks were harmed in the making of these pictures) =)))

From then on, I threw the bread down on the ground just as my mommy had asked me too from the beginning.

Hey, I don't eat off the ground (for the most part)

Why would I expect my duck friends too?

Bathtime ABC's

I am really into singing these days. You can often catch me singing when I am playing, taking a bath or doing nothing other than well... singing. I love singing my music songs and to the radio. Tonight, I was really into singing my ABC's so Mommy and Daddy caught me in the act!!!

I LOVE Doughnuts!

Today, Mommy and I decided to make doughnuts for breakfast. Since it is Spring Break, mommy thought I could enjoy an extra special treat! They are surprisely very easy to make, and best of all, there was plenty for ME to help with and taste! Yay!!!
Here are the simple steps for making your very own tasty doughnuts!

First, mix the sugar and cinnamon together in a bowl.

Okay, now is the perfect time to sneak in a little taste with your finger and play with the mixture like a big sand pit for a few minutes. Lots of fun is sure to have!

Next, punch out the middle of the squishy, oh so fun to touch biscuit dough with a bottle top.

Set all your doughnut holes aside for perfect bite-size pieces later.
Hmmm... What does that bottle top say??
So sad, that we don't have coke tops in our refrigerator... we only have beer tops!! =0
Okay, so the first few turned out alittle burnt! Warning, the grease gets very hot and cooks the doughnuts in seconds. So I recommend not cooking more than one at a time like recipes might suggest unless you are a pro, unlike my mommy.. obviously.

Once, you get the hang of the cooking part, it is time for the coating of the doughnuts in sugar ...
MY FAVORITE!
(We skipped the dunking in butter part... It made no difference in deliciousness... might I mention.
Mommy thought we could make these doughnuts alittle more healthy.. since we were already frying them in pure oil and coating them in pure sugar. Could life get any more delicious?
Be sure to sneak in a few more tastes. Yummy!

What????

I am so not even being discrete anymore... am I??

The final product! Not that many. I know.

Well, after burning a few, and eating a few in the process... Who's counting anyways?
Making doughnuts is all about having fun... Right?

Eat what's leftover, and enjoy!
I LOVE Doughnuts!

Shaving Cream Fun!

Every weekend, I watch with such curiosity and admiration as Daddy shaves when he gets ready. As a result, we have begun our own special routine. It looks like this:

Daddy puts shaving cream on my face.

I dash over to the mirror to see my funny looking face.
Such Pure Joy!
Ignore the granny in her robe in the background. I don't know who that is??
Darn that photoshop for breaking!

I enjoy feeling the smooth texture of the cream before Daddy cleans me off.
I love my Daddy. =)))

My Bosom Buddies

I love Elmo and my baby dolls so much!

Why should they be left out of all the fun?

When it is time to eat, I will say, "Elmo eat? Baby eat?"

I then run off and get them both a bib and demand they sit down for dinner with me.

They can't starve!!!

Here I am sharing my Goldfish with Elmo.

I am trying to put a goldfish in his hand, but I guess he wasn't hungry.

And of course, my baby must be rocked, read to, and tucked in with me each night.

Sometimes, after my mommy is done reading, I say, "Hannah read book?"

I then, place the baby in my lap and read to her.

I love Elmo and my babies so much!

Sorry about my mommies finger in the picture. We lost our Photoshop when our computer died!

Our Own Kite Festival

Today we had big plans to make it to the Annual Zilker Kite Festival!
And... that didn't happen.
So... the next best thing was buying a kite with Elmo (of course) and going out and flying it.
As you can tell, it was getting late, but we were going to fly a kite today.
My parents had promised me.

Here, Daddy is showing me how it is done. There wasn't much wind at this point, so he had to run to make Elmo fly. Mommy really enjoyed seeing Daddy running, since he proudly tells Mommy (the avid runner), the only running he believes in is beer runs!
At least, he is exercising I remind Mommy!
Here, Daddy is prepping me on kite flying.

Papa Don ran with me while I held the kite.
This kite flying is a piece of cake!

Chasing Elmo was quite fun!

Time for a swing break with Gama!
Thanks Mommy and Daddy for keeping your promise!

Just Hanging Out! (The above wonderful pictures were taken by my dear friend and photographer, Dana Bone.)

Stealing a Kiss!

Having Fun with Mommy and Daddy

Enjoying the beautiful Austin days!
