Like Daddy...Like Daughter

Today, we were all sitting around the table eating grapes for dessert. Daddy comments, "These grapes are crappy!" "Crappy!" I clearly mimic. Mommy and Daddy start laughing. I like words that make my parents laugh. =)) Mommy and Daddy have been talking a lot slower and often skip words when they speak now. I don't know what is wrong with them???

5 Signs that it is Christmas Around Here!

Christmas has been such a fun and busy time this year. I am really slacking with this blogging thing. But Christmas is definitely alive around here! 1. There are Walks through Bethlehem around town and I get to hug on all the animals!

Petting a camel for the 1st time ever!
(There were very cool animals in Bethlehem)

2. There are lights everywhere...including my favorite the Trail of Lights Christmas Tree.

Riding in the front seat (oh so special) with Papa through Tyler Tx "Santa Land"!!

3. Playing an angel in the annual Baby Jesus Party with my family.

(Don't I look angelic?)

4. Spending some goofy time with cousins at the Houston Children's Museum.
(This is such a FUN Children's Museum... Highly recommend it!)

5. And of course my parents trying to get me take a picture with this crazy old man dressed oh so silly. This is really starting to get on my nerves!!

Not even bribing me with a cookie will work Daddy!!

Give up already!

Lesson Learned!!! LOUD and clear!

Cupcake Ettique Can Tell So Much about a Girl!

As some may know already, we celebrated the end of music class by eating cupcakes this week at the delcious new Hey Cupcake.

These pictures were so cute and revealing of personalites... I just had to share them.

Oh the Ever- So- Famous Before Picture
(We missed you Ava!)

Such civilized young women sitting one afternoon eyeing their prey.

How shall we go about Eating such a Delicious Treat?

Miss Stern decides to carefully eat the base of the cupcake...passing on the oh-so-messy, sweet iced topping!

Miss Milam is so lady like exhibiting such willpower. Prestigious ladies can resist the immediate temptation of cupcakes.

Then... their is me...Miss Hobbs!
Dives right in without a second to spare... face first!

No surprise here!

Notice Miss Milam can't believe her eyes!!

Miss Abdine tackles the assignment thoughtfully planning each bite piece by piece!

Enough of that!!! This approach works much better!

A girl after my own heart!

Gotta Love Cupcakes!

...bringing all walks of life together!

Miss Paisley's mommy has asked her friends to share Christmas traditions if they wanted too. So I thought I would share a few of mine. (Some that I already do and some that I plan to start soon.) It is the pefect time to start traditions... and oh how fun they are to have. So please feel free to share your favorite traditions as well. =)

2. Making and painting Christmas Ornaments
3. Baking and Decorating Sugar Cookies...Sharing with with Family and Neighbors
4. The Elf on a Shelf (Thanks Aunt Hillary)
5. The Pickle Ornament (Thanks Aunt Hillary)
6. The Advent Calendar (Thanks Amy K.)
7. Framing my Santa and Photo Christmas Cards each year (Thanks Amy K.)
8. Decorating a Christmas plate each year (Thanks Amy K.)
9. Eating Tamales with family every Christmas Eve.
10. Picking out gifts to fill a shoebox for the Samaritan's Purse (Operation Christmas Child)
(We did this for the 1st time this year. I loved helping pick out all the gifts to fill the box. (Thanks MOPS)

I look foward to adding more fun-filled traditions!

The Perfect Pick

I know I have been slacking lately with my blog...but I will try to catch you up on all my fun-filled days.
I am LOVING this holiday called Christmas. I think it is my favorite holiday thus far. I just love all the lights, snowmen, holiday books and presents..yes presents...already.

Tonight my mommy and daddy went to Papa Noel to pick out our Christmas tree. (My parents think they have the best trees next to cutting one down at a tree farm..maybe in a few years)
My eyes literally lit up like one when I saw all the trees. They smell soooo good.
I loved this one since they had decorated it with some lights.
I LOVE this family tradition!!!
Guess what? We found the perfect tree!!
I will post a picture when it is finally decorated.

Check out my Christmas websites

Since it is the season of giving and sharing the magic of the holidays with our little ones, I can't think of 2 better websites you have to visit. I am surrounded by such brilliance.

The 1st one is:
http://www.meandmypeepsbooks.com/

Here, you can make your personalized board books for your tots to treasure and love forever.

The 2nd one is:
http://www.icaughtsanta.com/

Here you can take a picture of your living room etc.... and place a picture of Santa in it. This proves to your little ones that Santa really did visit you house and does exist. Oh the magic of Christmas!!!

Thanksgiving Fun with Family

Who is that cute baby and beautiful young lady?
Me and my cousin??....No. Not yet.

My grandma and my great Aunt? ...You got it!

Now that I think about it, if it wasn't for the 2 of you, the next few pictures of me and all my cousins having so much fun...wouldn't exist.

Thank you for helping create such a wonderful family!! I love you.

My cousins and I jumping... well...on second thought,
not so much.
That's a little better.

And my mommy has to thank my Uncle Dennis. For if it wasn't for him, the delicious turkey wouldn't have existed...

The following pictures wouldn't exist either.

My cousin Hadley and I sure had fun cruising the hood in our topless "Instep" over the holidays.

My cousin Georgia having some fun on the swings.

Thank you for all my family.
Thank you for all my friends.
I am sooo blessed.

Just Hanging Out! (The above wonderful pictures were taken by my dear friend and photographer, Dana Bone.)

Stealing a Kiss!

Having Fun with Mommy and Daddy

Enjoying the beautiful Austin days!
