Mommy's Birthday

Mommy turned the big 34 this past Friday! After the rather scary week we had, we were happy to be altogether celebrating!


That is a lot of candles for an ice-cream cake!

Laughing it Up with Me at 7 Months

My little sister Ella turns 7 months today. And I can't believe how little time it has taken me to fall completely head over heels in love with my baby sister. See for yourself!

Fire Station Field Trip

A couple of years ago, I went on a field trip with my friends, Meghan and Ava. I wasn't so fond of the suits or fire trucks back then. So, Mommy decided it was time to give it another try....now that I am older and wiser. :-))



I am not scared of the fireman in his fire suit at all! Yay!!




I even volunteered to show the other kids how you stop, drop and roll.

We All Scream for Icecream!

Today, we went to the Brenham Blue Bell Creamery!! We took the 45 minute tour and I learned how they make one of my favorite treats...Ice cream!!



Ella was sleeping in her stroller, but we still wanted her to be in the picture. :-)




Well we had to get one more when she woke up.

Of course, the best part of the tour was getting to enjoy a cup of yummy Blue Bell Ice cream! It was worth the wait!

Happy Birthday USA 2011

This 4th of July was a great one!
We started by sporting our patriotic gear with some pretty smiles.

Then we were off to the annual Round Rock 4th of July parade.

Ready to fill my bag full of yummy candy!

Ella was very interested in the parade too.

My neighbors, Lauren and Logan, and I loved waving at everyone.

After the parade, we headed to grandma's to grill out and play in the pool all day!
Just what the 4th of July is all about!

Ella's Swinging!!

Finally Ella is able to swing next me ...very slowly and carefully. But it is better than when she tried to swing a few weeks ago, and Mommy was worried Ella might fall through the leg holes.

Tyler Fun!

This Memorial Day, we packed our bags and headed for Lake Tyler! On the way, we stopped in Waco to visit the Cameron Zoo!!
I have to say, this is a beautiful zoo, and it is the perfect size!!










I loved seeing these BIG jaguars and cougars. When I asked Daddy what they eat, he replied, "Mommy!" Daddy is so funny sometimes.











Ella loved hanging out at the zoo riding in the stroller and in the Bjorn.










One of my favorites were these beautiful giraffes. I loved watching them reach up with their tongues to tear off tree limbs.








We saw many big poisonous snakes and Komodo Dragons! I love catching lizards. But, you won't find me catching these lizards.

We arrived in Tyler and got to see Mimi, Papa Andy and Mam'ma Ruth!

Later, we arrived at the lake house in Tyler. We are so blessed that my Pop Pop has been coming up here for 18 years now. I got to play volleyball and badminton, swim, go canoeing, and have loads of fun with more family.
