Ella's First Food

Today, my sister, Ella went to her 4 month appointment. She almost doubled her birth weight by weighing 12lbs 2oz. This now puts her in the 25th percentile. Yay!!






Dr. Millar gave Ella the okay to start rice cereal. It was so fun to watch her eat!







She eventually started trying to feed herself! I guess Daddy wasn't doing it fast enough.


Yum!!!

Easter Fun

Yesterday and today, Mommy and I have been busy little elves. Oops, I mean bunnies getting ready for Easter.

We started by watching a classic movie, Bugs Bunny Easter Fun. (Thanks Aunt Kim!) to get us in the Easter mood.

Then we made Easter Baskets.










Basically, you cover 1/3 of a balloon with fabric. (Thank you Grandma for letting us go through your great selection of colors.).








Continue covering the fabric and yourself with lots of glue until all is nice and sticky.

















Let the balloons dry overnight. We also put a fan on them to speed up the drying process.











Pop the balloon, add a wired ribbon for a handle, and fill your beautiful basket with grass and eggs.


















Place it in your home proudly!!

Later, we went to get our annual Easter Bunny Picture, and then we finished the day by dying Easter Eggs. What a fun day!

Happy 4 Months Ella... Mommy Minute

My little baby, Ella, turned 4 months today. Wow! Time flys. I guess it is time for her to move to her crib, since she is too long for her bassinet now. ;-(( But, I am so happy she is growing.






















I love how you are such a happy baby, always smiling at every chance.

I love how you love to stand and look at yourself so proudly in the mirror.

I love how you have discovered how good your whole hand tastes.

I love how you don't know a stranger. You love everyone.

I love how you love your big sister, Hannah, no matter what "idea" she has planned for the two of you.

I love your sweet, little laugh! It just makes people smile.

I love how you always wake up with a smile on your face. We all could stand to work on this detail ourselves.

I love how you carry sweet conversations with us throughout the day.

I love how you just go with the flow every day. No matter what the plans are, you pull yourself together and of course, smile.

I love how you are starting to enjoy your tummy time.

I love how you get so tickled by playing patty cake.
