Summer 2010

I know it is Fall, but better late than never.
Here is the condensed version of the rest of Summer 2010

Enjoying sparklers on 4th of July in Daddy's office parking lot.

Enjoying my cousin, Hadley's 3rd Birthday Princess Party.

I loved getting all dolled up!

Building sand castles on our trip to Galveston.

Visiting the Rainforest Cafe

I saw so many exotic animals on the Rainforest Ride.

That is the coolest dessert I think I have ever seen!
Rainforest Cafe Rocked!

Every summer, I have to go to BK's place.
My mommy has gone camping there every year since she was my age.
It simply would not be summer without going to the Guadalupe River!
This year, we went on my Uncle Glen's birthday.

Here is a picture of my Uncle Glen.
Can you believe I have an uncle who turned 50 this year?
Just to clarify, that does not make my Mommy that old. =-))

Enjoying the beautiful Guadalupe River with my cousins,
Kyndall, Emmerson, and Ronito.

I LOVED going to the Ceramic Lounge this summer with many of my neighbors for story hour.
This particular time, the owner read, The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carl.
Then, I got to to paint my very own ceramic caterpillar!!

Hard at Work!!

Halloween 2010

This Halloween, I was a purple, sparkly flapper.
The purple, sparkly part is important, because that is why I picked this costume.
I don't know what a flapper is, of course, but I do know I like sparkly, purple princess dresses.
With that said. A flapper was this year's pick.

Have to get a few pics with all my street friends before getting started.

I was very scared of this grim reaper.
Then, he took off his mask to show me it was just my neighbor, Thomas.
I thought it was funny, just a little bit.
I love Halloween, for sure.
I am, however, not so sure about this whole scary part!
Happy Halloween!

1st Day of School

Way back in August, I had my 1st day of preschool. (for 3 year olds.)
Yes, I know!
What has taken me so long to blog about this?
Well, I have been in school to name just a few things going on in my busy life right now. =-))
Hopefully, you forgive me!

The all famous... before school picture with my backpack.
Okay, so I wanted to hide behind my backpack.
You get the idea.

Walking to school looking like such a big kid carrying my backpack as big as me.
Yes, I wanted to carry it all by myself, of course.

Swinging on what is now my favorite swing with Daddy as we wait for the school bell to ring.

And, now one with Mommy.
Everyone wanted to be a part of my very 1st day of school. =-)

My teacher at Council Oaks Preschool, Mrs. Sharon.

Having fun already at the science station.

Mommy took me to get yogurt after school.
Here I am enjoying yogurt and catching some flicks.
We talked about my day, and when Mommy asked me if I made any friends, I replied,
"Yes, Jesus, and Coach Mary."
Getting yogurt was such a hit, Mommy and I have decided to make it a 1st day of school an annual tradition.
What a sweet idea!
I love school!

Happy 60th Nana!

Today, my Nana celebrated her 60th Birthday!
I was so glad I got to help her celebrate this weekend.

Mommy and I made a yummy cake just for her!

My cousin, Wyatt and I playing around while we waited for the
celebration to begin!

Happy Birthday Nana!
You are the best Nana EVER!
Thanks for always making spending time with you
so FUN!
I love you!

Happy 4th of July

This year, my family and I went to the annual Round Rock 4th of July Parade
held in downtown Round Rock.

Decked out in 4th of July gear... check
Family... check
Big candy bag (on the right).... double check
Got to love old fashioned parades!

The whole, festive crew!
Hope you had a festive 4th too!

My Great Aunt and Uncle's 50th Wedding Anniversary!

Last weekend, I had a blast going to my Great Aunt Millie and Uncle Ruben's
50th Wedding Anniversary!

Wow! 50 years!
What a privilege it is to have such great
role models of a happy, long marriage in my life.

Here I am all dressed to impress in one of my princess dresses.
I picked it out and insisted I wear this dress.
Mommy and Daddy finally gave in.
I can pull off any dress, no worries.

My aunt and uncle on their wedding day.
What a great looking couple.

And still a great looking couple.
My Mommy loves them so much!

Aunt Millie had her princess dress there too.
It was beautiful!

One of the best parts of getting together for parties,
is spending time with cousins,
and enjoying the endless supply of party food.

But, I have to say the best part of my day celebrating
was dancing!
I loved doing the chicken dance in the above picture.

Happy 50th Anniversary
Aunt Millie and Uncle Ruben!
We love you!!

Just Hanging Out! (The above wonderful pictures were taken by my dear friend and photographer, Dana Bone.)

Stealing a Kiss!

Having Fun with Mommy and Daddy

Enjoying the beautiful Austin days!
